Well folks… As if tornadoes this June weren’t enough, our sleepy town been slammed again this year. Irene was here changing the landscape forever. The devastation in our area was pretty astounding. My wife has been stranded at work as the roads all cross waterways and are flooded. The water wells are contaminated and peoples lives turned upside down and inside out. The Airstream held up like a champ. Wind, rain, water in every direction and it is all dry and warm inside. When the power dropped out, the batteries kicked in and the heat and lights stayed on! Woo!
