Let it snow! It is the end of October and we have a just been surprised by a freak snow storm. The weight of the snow ripped the awning and we will need to replace it in the spring. We barely had enough time to hustle all the tools and wood into the barn before it really started to pile up. Look at the blue sky as it starts! We are very unprepared for this.

We have realized very quickly that our furnace is not going to be enough alone. Our floors are very very cold and that is a huge risk to our pipes and water hook-ups. This has given us some much needed winter test information. Propane will be very very expensive without extra heating options. On another note, the airstream is indeed warm and dry! Stay tuned!
