It has been a while since any progress has been made on the Airstream. Work, gardens and life have slowed progress to the point where we still have not sealed all the leaks that need to be sealed before we can move out of the hoophouse. The greenhouse is rather warm for summer shelter. We have opened both ends and installed a fan at one end. For the most part, it has been fine for spring but with this heat wave it has become terribly hot.
We will need to make time to fix the leaks so we can pull it into the shade. We are also considering AC options as well. We are not thrilled about changing the vintage exterior and cutting a hole in the roof for an ugly rooftop AC unit. We are seeking an alternative but have yet to come up with a solution. Stay tuned as we make slow progress towards being finished and mobile.
