The Bed!
We are parked at a campground that has bath houses that are heated. So, we have decided to pretend the bathroom is a black hole in the large trailer. We can walk to the bath houses and use the privy and showers. Although, not convenient, this is a reasonable short term solution hopefully making it possible to work on the 23ft Airstream sooner.
There are going to be two nightstands opposing each other that will also serve as our dressers. We will have to make some hanging space for a suit, a few shirts and a few hanging items. We have no idea where that is going to go.
The dog thought she was helping by being in the way constantly.
This compartment needs to be boxed in so there is not a huge cold draft under the bed.
The box will be lined on the inside with a foam insulation for added weather protection.
We need the bed to be light. My husband sourced free and to be recycled aluminum box channel with brackets from a screen house to build the bed. Light weight and free.
It is all going to need coats of paint at a later date to freshen it up but it can be opened and held up by one person and with one hand.
Look at all that storage!
