Hello, Dream Boat – 1977 20ft Argosy Motorhome

Today Andrew and our best friend went to see this rare beast that I found in Arkansas. Meet Dream Boat! He is a 1977 Airstream Argosy 20ft motorhome. It has a Chevy 350 small block. I believe he built on the P-30 step van chassis. I am worried that it will be infinitely more complicated tinkering on the coach and the running gear. Andrew drove it home and lived. So that is awesome. It definitely needs brakes. Bill has kids so he drove the reliable Tundra and followed Andrew. It should be noted that people were following Dream Boat in parking lots and gas stations wanting information on it. The 20ft size seems less common.

Curbside
Roadside
The dash is original and a cracked plastic mess where nothing works.
The dashboard is giant.
Roof lockers
This would be a custom kitchen and definitely not original.
Shower
Fuses
The view from the cockpit.
We think this might have been or had a wheelchair lift at some point.
This shows the wet plywood wall on the possible wheelchair door. It is definitely leaking.
