1977 Airstream Argosy Motorhome – Wall Patch 2

All the ribs in the wheelchair door of Dream Boat have been removed. There was a wheelchair lift company sticker on the inside edge of the door/wall panel. Andrew and Bill decided to put together ribs to support the huge skin patch. They took the patch from the donor parts trailer used on the set of Banshee. We all agreed this is where we should harvest the metal for Dreamy. I will have to strip the clear coat off the patch. Clear coat is tricky as sometimes you don’t see the remaining bits until you are polishing. This is sad news for my arms. Here is what we did.

Helper
Cutting, drilling out the rivets and removing the panel off the junk trailer.
Andrew showing me how the frame is made and going to be attached.
The crate as a ladder.
Andrew and Bill decoded to remove the rest of the panel here so it will look more stock.
The guys mocking the panel into place for me.
Hello Dream Boat. I see you.
