Welcome to Airstream_Wheeler!
We head to the Florida Keys for some fun in the sun! We had to leave our Airstream behind due to unforeseen circumstances. Originally, we had big plans to explore all that Florida has to offer.
Sadly, the place we planned to start our family vacation had “trailer” parking for a daily fee and only after booking the trip with friends did we realize that it meant boat trailers only. Oops!
Instead, we made a quick pivot and headed north to drop our Airstream at a campground. We are comfortable using this basic and budget friendly spot. We often stay here as we move between anchor locations. Shanna used to have family living locally and we would come through often.
We are very much looking forward to some fun in the sun and feel very fortunate to be able to go explore. We keep camping in cold weather accidentally. This will be a lovely opportunity to recharge before we head into spring and go full tilt on the Dream Boat Project, my 1977 Airstream Argosy Motorhome.
